If you do not hear your vocals after recording (playback):
iPhone:
1. Make sure that microphone access is enabled for Rapchat by going to iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone > Toggle Rapchat On
2. In the Rapchat studio make sure you have your input set to the correct microphone. Tap on the settings icon at the bottom of the studio to open these options.
3. If those look okay then check if the volume is too low on the vocals. Tap the "Mix" icon and then adjust the beat volume all the way down and the vocal volume all the way up.
4. If neither of these solves the issue then the microphone itself is probably broken and you should try another set of headphones
Android:
1. Make sure the Rapchat has microphone permission enabled (go to your phone settings)
2. Check if the volume is too low on the vocals. Tap the "Mix" icon and then adjust the beat volume all the way down and the vocal volume all the way up.
3. If neither of these solves the issue then the microphone itself is probably broken and you should try another set of heaphones
