We report the exact numbers that TikTok sends us. However, TikTok does have a tendency to misattribute the number of streams to the wrong songs. As a result, you may see an inflated number of streams in your Distro analytics page that do not match what you see in TikTok.

We have been sharing this feedback with them but for now we have no way to validate the data they share with us so you should cross-check against what you see in the app.
