How to Export Stems from Your Project
Updated over a week ago

Exporting stems from your project in Rapchat allows you to save individual audio files for each track or instrument, providing more flexibility for mixing, mastering, or collaborating with other artists. Follow these steps to export stems from your project (iOS only):

  1. Open the Rapchat app on your device.

  2. Open the project that contains the tracks you want to export as stems.

  3. Look for the upload icon in the upper-right corner of the screen (usually represented by a cloud or arrow icon).

  4. Tap on the upload icon to access the export options.

  5. From the available export options, choose "Export Audio" or a similar option related to exporting audio files.

  6. Select "Export Stems" or "Export Ableton Set" to specify the desired format for your exported files. "Export Stems" will export individual audio files for each track, while "Export Ableton Set" will export the project as an Ableton Live set file.

  7. Once you've made your selection, Rapchat will process the export and generate the stems or Ableton set file.

  8. Once the export is complete, you will be prompted to choose a location to save the exported files. Select a folder or directory on your device where you want the stems or Ableton set file to be saved.

  9. After choosing the save location, the files will be saved to your device. You can access them using your device's file manager or the Rapchat app's designated folder for exported files.

By exporting stems or an Ableton set from your project, you'll have separate audio files for each track or instrument, allowing for more advanced editing, mixing, or further production in other software or DAWs.

If you have any further questions or encounter any issues while exporting stems or an Ableton set, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. We're here to assist you and ensure you have the best experience using Rapchat!
