✍️ How to Add or Update AI Source
IMPORTANT: All existing AI songs need to have the AI source added by May 30 or they will be taken down.
Whether you’re submitting a new release or updating an existing one, here’s how to provide the required AI information:
Open the release in the app
Tap the three-dot menu (•••)
Select Edit Release
Under Beat/Instrumental Source, choose “Created with AI”
Tap Continue
Enter the name of the AI tool used
Submit your edits
💡 Why This Matters
Disclosing your use of AI and using compliant tools helps protect your music, ensures it’s eligible for distribution, and supports a healthy, ethical music ecosystem. Songs with AI detected that are not properly labeled will be removed.
