We ask for your legal name in the Distro signup for two reasons:

1 - Legally we need this in order to pay out your streaming royalties

2 - We use this in the songwriting credits and song publishing to follow the metadata guidelines from Spotify and Apple Music. For example, you can see below how "A. Graham" is listed as a writer instead of "Drake"
