If you're trying to record over an imported beat and don't see the option to collaborate, it's because collaboration features are only available when you record over a beat from our Beats Library. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you import your beat to our library and enable the collab feature:
Steps to Import Your Beat to Rapchat
Go to the Rapchat Website: Head to the Rapchat website to upload your beats.
Log In or Sign Up:
If you already have a Rapchat account, log in with your username and password.
If you're new to Rapchat, create an account by entering your producer name, email address, and password.
Tap the "Upload Beat": Once you're logged in, click on your profile on the top right and select "Upload Beat."
Upload Your Beat:
Upload your beat in mp3 format.
Optionally, upload your artwork (recommended size: 1500x1500 pixels).
Add your beat details such as title, key, BPM, mood, instrument, genre, and tags.
Confirm Your Upload: After uploading your beat, you will receive an email notification confirming that your beat is live.
By following these steps, your beat will be added to the Rapchat Beats Library, allowing you and other users to collaborate on recordings.
