There are two ways that users upload beats to Rapchat, depending on how they want the beats to be used:
If you're an artist uploading a beat to record over:
Tap on the studio (microphone) icon
Tap "Start new Project"
Tap "Import Beat"
If you're a producer uploading one of YOUR beats for ANYONE to use:
Go to the Rapchat website: Head to the Rapchat website at https://rapchat.com/login to upload your beats.
Log in or sign up: If you already have a Rapchat account, log in with your username and password. If you're new to Rapchat, create an account by typing in your producer name, email address, and password.
Tap the "Upload Beat": Once you're logged in, click on your profile on the top right and select "Upload Beat."
Upload your beat: Upload your beat, which must be in mp3 format. You can also upload your artwork (we recommend 1500x1500), add your beat title, key, BPM, mood, instrument, genre, and tags.
Confirm your upload: After you upload your beat, you will receive an email letting you know that your beat is live.
What types of files can be uploaded as beats?
File Size: Ensure your beat file is under 40 MB.
