If you signed up for Rapchat Distro and expected your music to be distributed to your existing Spotify or Apple Music account but instead a new artist profile was created, don’t worry—you can request to link your correct account.

Why Did This Happen?

When you create your Distro profile, we ask if you already have an existing Spotify or Apple Music account to link. If you didn’t provide your artist ID or entered it incorrectly, Spotify and Apple Music may have created a new profile for your music.

How to Fix It

You can request to link your correct artist account and have your music re-sent to stores by following these steps:

  1. Open a new support chat in the Rapchat app.

  2. Select "Fill Out Ticket ✍️".

  3. Choose "Distro Sent to Wrong Artist".

  4. Submit a new ticket with the correct links to your existing artist profiles.

Once submitted, we will process your request and re-send your music to the correct profiles. This typically takes about 2 business days.
