Sometimes streaming platforms send your song to the wrong artist profile — or even create a new one for you. Don’t worry — we’ll help you get it sorted.
There are three common scenarios, and the steps are different depending on which one applies.
✅ 1. You Just Need Access to Your Artist Profile
If your songs were sent to the correct artist page, but you don’t yet have access to it, you can claim your profile directly from the stores:
🎯 2. Your Songs Went to the Wrong Profile — But You Already Have the Right One
(Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud only)
If your songs were sent to a different artist profile, and you already have your correct one, follow these steps:
Paste the links to your correct artist profiles on:
Spotify
Apple Music
SoundCloud
Once your accounts are linked, go to each release in your Distro Hub and resend it individually
✅ After this, your music will show up on your correct artist profile going forward.
🆕 3. You’ve Never Had Your Own Profile (Stores Created a Generic One)
If your songs were sent to a shared or incorrect artist page because your artist name is common (ex: multiple artists with the same name), we can request the stores to create a new, unique profile for you.
Here’s how:
Open the support chat
Select "Create Ticket"
Choose "Create a New Artist Profile"
Submit your artist info and links
We'll send a request to the stores on your behalf and move your music to the correct profile once it's created.
📱 For Other Platforms
Here’s what to do if your songs are showing up incorrectly on platforms other than Spotify, Apple, or SoundCloud:
Amazon Music
Log into your Amazon Music account
Find the incorrect album or song
Click the three dot menu (•••)
Select “Report Issue”
Fill out and submit the form
⏳ It may take up to 4 weeks for Amazon to correct the issue.
YouTube Music
YouTube may have created a Topic Channel with your name.
If you'd like to merge it with your Official Artist Channel, you can request that here:
Deezer
Please contact us via support chat and include:
A link to your correct artist page
A link to the incorrect page (if applicable)
The UPC numbers of the affected releases
(You can find these in your Distro Hub)
All Other Stores
For any other platform:
Reach out to the store’s support team directly
Provide:
A link to your correct artist profile
A link to the incorrect profile or content
The UPC numbers of each affected release
